According to the notice Beijing Yanhua Hospital Held Publicity and Education on the Prevention of Narcotic and Psychotropic Drugs Abuse issued by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and other 10 ministries and commissions and the requirements of Beijing Municipal Health Commission, the Medical Department and Pharmacy Department of Beijing Yanhua Hospital organized a publicity and education activity on the prevention of narcotic and psychotropic drug abuse on July 28, and nearly 100 doctors, nurses and pharmacists of the whole hospital participated in the training. 

Yan Chengcheng, a clinical pharmacist in the Pharmacy Department, gave a lecture on Anticol Incident. Taking the "federal cough dew incident" as an example,introduced the abuse of prescription drugs containing narcotic drugs and "refreshing drugs" in the youth group, which eventually led to the physical and mental destruction of teenagers and be misguided, and other related cases. By consulting the literature, Yan Chengcheng pharmacist introduced the varieties and proportion involved in the abuse of prescription drugs by drug addicts, so that the medical workers in the hospital had a new understanding of the management, prescription, deployment and use of narcotic and psychotropic drugs in the hospital.

Narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs have two sides: on the one hand, they are drugs to cure and save lives; On the other hand, because it is addictive and prone to "toxicity" of drug dependence, it can become a drug once used beyond the scope. Therefore, its storage and use should be carefully managed and abuse is strictly prohibited. The purpose of this training is not only to ensure medical supply and meet the reasonable needs of patients, but also to prevent abuse into illegal channels.In view of the management and clinical rational application of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, the Medical Department, Pharmacy Department, Nursing Department, clinical departments and other relevant departments of Yanhua Hospital have always attached great importance to this work, strictly implemented relevant management systems, strengthened safety management, carried out personnel training, passed the standardized diagnosis and treatment inspection of cancer pain in Beijing, checked and supplemented deficiencies, and looked for deficiencies. We will do our best to prevent the abuse of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and their rational clinical application!
